EMT Computer Consulting was established in June of 2010 by Kyle Edwards. Kyle had been helping friends and family for years and decided it was time to create a business. In June of 2010 he made it official and created Emergency Micro Technician Computer Consulting, LLC or E.M.T. Computer Consulting, LLC for short. This allowed him to use a medical theme for the business as a play on words. The original logo is shown below. Kyle even went so far as to purchase a used ambulance and had the logo and company contact information placed on it for advertising and marketing. Unfortunately, as Kyle explains, “I put the cart before the horse, because I didn’t know anything about diesel engines, and it was always broken down.” Ultimately the ambulance was sold for scrap, but the spirit remained and EMT Computer Consulting began growing its client base.

Beginning in July of 2017, Kyle moved several times to locations like Beckley West Virginia and then later, Brunswick, GA, and then finally in October of 2022 back to Louisville, Kentucky. He remains committed to servicing all his clients wherever they may be as well as finding and attracting new clients to serve. Recently, Kyle decided it was time to retire the medical theme and rebranded the company as “Edwards Managed Technology Computer Consulting”, which when shortened remained EMT Computer Consulting.  Along with the new name came an updated logo as shown below.
