Microsoft Subscription Price Changes Effective April 1, 2025

What’s Changing?

5% Price Increase: Microsoft is increasing the cost of all annual or triennial subscriptions billed monthly by 5%.

This change impacts new and renewing subscriptions across all licensing channels.
Products Affected
This increase applies to major products including:

Microsoft 365 (Business Basic, Standard, Premium, E3, E5)

Office 365 (E1, E3, E5)

Dynamics 365 (Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Business Central, etc.)

Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate)
Additional Price Changes
Also effective April 1, 2025:

Power BI Pro: Increasing from $10 to $14/user/month

Power BI Premium Per User (PPU): Increasing from $20 to $24/user/month
Who is Affected?

Organizations using annual or triennial subscriptions with monthly billing

This does not affect monthly commitment subscriptions (month-to-month)

Customers who pay annually upfront are not affected by the 5% increase
What Can You Do?
If your subscription renews before April 1, 2025, you can lock in your current pricing by switching to annual upfront billing. This helps you avoid the increase altogether.
